Oracle EBS ASCP Functional Consultant

Role Overview

Litmus7 Systems Consulting is looking for a seasoned Oracle EBS ASCP Functional Consultant to drive implementation, improvements, and ongoing production support for Oracle E-Business Suite Advanced Supply Chain Planning solutions. The role involves partnering with business teams to refine supply planning, set up ASCP plans, and make sure planning works smoothly with manufacturing, procurement, inventory, and order management processes.

Oracle ASCP helps build supply plans by balancing demand, available material, and capacity limits across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain Oracle EBS ASCP solutions on R12 and 11i.
• Investigate and resolve planning exceptions, collection issues, and plan generation defects.
• Work with technical teams on interfaces, reports, and custom development activities.
• Handle production support, perform root cause analysis, and improve planning performance.
• Support both constrained and unconstrained supply planning setups.
• Maintain plan options, plan parameters, planning methods, and planning time fences.
• Set up data collections, source instances, and planning server configurations.
• Review planning results and suggest ways to improve inventory positioning and supply chain efficiency.
• Gather business requirements and convert them into Oracle EBS functional solutions.
• Support integrations across ASCP, Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and Shipping.
• Carry out fit-gap assessment and prepare functional design documentation.
• Assist with UAT, deployment activities, and stabilization after go-live.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS SCM, including 3 years or more in ASCP.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle ASCP, Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Advanced Pricing, and Shipping Execution.
• Hands-on experience with collections, planning server setup, and distributed planning setups.
• Understanding of demand and supply planning, safety stock, sourcing rules, and ATP.
• Good SQL skills for issue analysis and data validation.
• Experience with Oracle Workflow and Concurrent Programs.
• Ability to diagnose planning exceptions and improve supply chain planning outcomes.
• Exposure to Global Order Promising, Oracle Value Chain Planning, Demantra, APCC, or Oracle Production Scheduling is preferred.
• Experience in retail supply chain settings is an advantage.
• Oracle certification in Supply Chain Planning will be considered a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to work independently in both support and project environments, while coordinating across business, technical, and operations teams.
• Comfort with managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
