About the Role
The Operations Consultant collaborates closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the stockroom is orderly and merchandise is consistently updated in line with company standards at the Regina, Saskatchewan location.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver courteous, knowledgeable client service during store hours.
- Support training of cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and Mobile POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area.
- Support adherence to SEPHORA’s merchandising guidelines.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at minimizing loss and shortages.
- Receive and process incoming shipments promptly.
- Organize stockroom according to company protocols.
- Handle product transfers, damage reports, and testers following standard procedures.
- Inspect visual merchandising elements and report missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
- Ensure safety and tidiness standards are consistently met.
- Communicate any inventory concerns to supervisory staff.
- Respect and enforce sampling policies and procedures.
- Participate in inventory management and control activities.
- Certain consultants will be cross-trained to perform cashier duties.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 2 years experience in retail or client service, preferably with stockroom responsibilities.
- Strong computer literacy, arithmetic, and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while attending to clients and business requirements.
- Strong skills in time management, problem-solving, and communication.
- High School diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Additional Details
- Work environment includes exposure to fragrances.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform bending and stretching to stock shelves.
Compensation and Benefits
