About The Role
This position involves working 8-hour shifts on variable days with start times ranging from 5:30 AM to 11:00 PM. The role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of trains during service hours, which is vital for delivering a positive experience to passengers. The cleaner will travel onboard trains and provide thorough cleaning services throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure the interior of the train remains neat and tidy.
- Manage and restock cleaning supplies as required to guarantee all necessary materials are available each day.
- Work onboard trains during travel, interacting respectfully and professionally with passengers and train staff.
Candidate Requirements
- Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to positively engage with passengers and team members.
- Prior experience in cleaning roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as per the scheduling needs.
