Night Porter

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs during assigned hours, assisting with luggage and porterage requests.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel including the lobby, back office, stairways, restaurant, bar floors, public and staff areas, as well as meeting rooms.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as directed by the manager on duty and according to the nightly checklist. Tasks may include preparing function rooms and breakfast areas.
• Ensure the front entrance and outside areas of the hotel remain clean and orderly at all times by emptying bins and removing litter.
• Understand and adhere to the hotel’s fire safety procedures to safeguard guests and staff.
• Set up meeting rooms as required for hotel functions.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in customer-facing roles.
• Good communication skills in spoken English.
• Strong organizational ability to handle a busy environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
