About Delaney Computer Services
Delaney Computer Services (DCS) is currently onboarding a seasoned MSP Support Technician to join their expanding workforce. This is a remote role based in Florida, providing technical assistance to clients nationwide from a home office setting.
Role Overview
The technician will dedicate much of their day to diagnosing and resolving client technology concerns, responding to support inquiries, executing projects, and ensuring seamless operation of business IT systems. Independence, multitasking, and ownership of issues from inception to completion are key attributes for success in this position.
The role involves support on a broad range of technical challenges such as Microsoft 365 troubleshooting, network issue resolution, user assistance, cloud solution deployment, infrastructure initiatives, server migrations, and technology enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver remote support across diverse client setups.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to Microsoft 365, Windows OS, networks, hardware, software, and business applications.
- Efficiently resolve technical problems while upholding superior customer service standards.
- Manage support tickets independently from initial logging through to resolution.
- Communicate directly with clients professionally via phone, email, and remote tools.
- Assist with deployment, upgrade, migration tasks and day-to-day technical assistance.
- Engage in server, network, and cloud-related projects, including Microsoft 365 migrations and infrastructure improvements.
- Install and configure IT solutions remotely ensuring thorough documentation of work performed.
- Monitor client environments proactively, address system alerts, perform routine maintenance, and identify patterns to recommend improvements.
- Support maintenance of secure, stable client IT environments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- In-depth understanding of desktop environments, networking principles, Microsoft 365, and end-user support.
- Previous experience working with Managed Service Providers preferred.
- Familiarity with VoIP systems, VPN technologies, Microsoft 365 platform, and remote assistance tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on effective communication and customer support.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic, rapid-paced setting.
- Must have reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace at home.
- Residency within Florida is required.
- Flexible working hours including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
