Mobile Cleaner II

Overview

Join a dedicated team that ensures facilities remain safe, pristine, and fully operational. We are in search of an experienced commercial cleaner who enjoys working autonomously, traveling between various locations, and handling specialized cleaning assignments. This role focuses on maintaining diverse commercial and industrial properties through regular and advanced cleaning techniques alongside facility support.

Key Duties

• Deliver routine cleaning services including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting offices, common areas, meeting rooms, and workspaces.
• Sanitize washrooms, replenish necessary supplies, and ensure ongoing stock levels.
• Manage waste and recycling disposal effectively.
• Clean interior glass surfaces and entryways; maintain outdoor areas through litter collection and surrounding upkeep.
• Perform specialized cleaning such as deep carpet and upholstery cleaning, operation of advanced machinery like auto scrubbers and carpet extractors, floor stripping and refinishing, pressure washing exteriors, high-level dusting, and emergency restoration from spills or contamination.
• Remove snow and ice from critical pathways and entrances when required.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards and document completed tasks through photographic evidence and reporting tools.
• Report any facility issues and assist with washroom equipment installation and repairs.
• Coordinate logistics for moving cleaning supplies and equipment between sites.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain a safe workplace.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional cleaning settings.
• Proficiency in handling professional cleaning machinery and adhering to industry best practices.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations including WHMIS.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation for frequent travel between sites.

Working Conditions

• Possible shifts during day, evening, or night hours.
• Availability for on-call or emergency assignments may be required.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 35 pounds, frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive tasks.
• Travel among multiple client sites within the assigned area is necessary.

Compensation & Opportunity

• This is a permanent, full-time role offering an annual salary between 46476 and 52000 Canadian dollars, commensurate with skills and experience.
