Mid-Weight Graphic Designer

About the Role

Purple Dinosaur Ltd is seeking an experienced mid-weight Graphic Designer to join their dynamic creative team in Hampton, England. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced agency environment, growing towards a senior role while supporting diverse clients spanning aesthetics, longevity, health, hospitality, and premium lifestyle sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Create design work across brand identity, digital marketing campaigns, social media, print collateral, packaging, and event materials.
• Interpret creative briefs to produce polished, cohesive design assets aligned with brand guidelines for various platforms.
• Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Prepare artwork files optimized for print production including brochures, signage, packaging, and event branding.
• Develop digital assets such as paid social media creatives, landing pages, emails, and website visuals.
• Adapt overarching campaign concepts into comprehensive asset suites across different formats.
• Ensure all files meet high standards for both print and digital deployment.
• Incorporate AI tools into research, concept development, iteration, and production to enhance creative processes.
• Participate actively in creative reviews by contributing ideas while adhering closely to project briefs.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a design agency environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both digital and print design.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to design with the client's business goals in mind, not just aesthetics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as Figma.
• Comfortable integrating AI tools as a part of the design workflow.
• Ability to juggle multiple brand voices and deliver consistent, on-brand designs.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to function efficiently under deadline pressure.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written, capable of liaising with clients and internal teams.
• Attention to fine details such as typography, layout, and production standards.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience within sectors such as aesthetics, health, wellness, or premium lifestyle.
• Basic skills in motion graphics (e.g., via Canva) and knowledge of preparing assets for video production teams.
• Familiarity with print production processes and managing external supplier relationships.
• Experience contributing to brand identity creation and original design concepts from the ground up.

Additional Information

Salary & Location

The salary offered for this position is £35,000 annually. The role is based onsite in Hampton, Greater London, with hybrid working arrangements.
