Role Overview
The Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for driving receiving and merchandising execution while helping the team work efficiently and collaboratively. This role focuses on excellent customer service, store presentation, organized backroom operations, and smooth movement of merchandise to the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a strong experience for both internal teammates and external customers.
- Model honesty, integrity, and appropriate confidentiality in day-to-day work.
- Coordinate truck deliveries and prioritize moving product onto the sales floor.
- Train and coach associates on merchandising and processing standards.
- Make sure merchandise is tagged, hung, secured, and coded correctly.
- Work closely with the Coordinator on Duty to keep goods flowing efficiently to the sales floor.
- Help ensure tasks are completed according to the store plan, adjusting priorities when needed.
- Track team productivity and provide coaching when necessary.
- Arrange and cycle back stock so replenishment is simple and fast.
- Support merchandising presentation and signage standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and recovery standards in the backroom.
- Follow recycling requirements and hazardous waste procedures where applicable.
- Share priorities and progress clearly with management and associates.
- Give and receive recognition as well as constructive feedback.
- Work with management to identify training needs and improve team effectiveness.
- Follow all labor laws, company policies, and procedures.
- Support credit and loyalty program promotion efforts.
- Contribute to shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Promote safety awareness and help maintain a safe workplace.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced store environment. Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities are important, along with the ability to support and train others.

Compensation
The starting pay for this role is $17.00 to $17.50 per hour. Final starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
Employment Details
This is a full-time onsite position based in Kalispell, Montana, at the Sierra store location on US Highway 93 North.
