This is a fully remote opportunity in the United Kingdom for Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer, and Lead Medical Writer positions. What you will do
- Create accurate, high-quality publication materials such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress presentations, and related scientific content.
- Translate dense clinical and scientific data into clear messaging for healthcare professional audiences.
- Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external specialists to deliver work on schedule and to a high scientific standard.
- Make sure all deliverables follow publication guidance, client goals, and strong editorial practices.
- Juggle several projects at once in a busy agency setting.
- For Senior and Lead Medical Writer levels, provide scientific guidance, support junior writers, and help shape publication strategy.
Requirements
- Between 2 and 6+ years of medical writing experience in a medical communications agency.
- Proven background in producing publications such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress materials.
- An advanced scientific qualification is essential, such as a PhD, PharmD, or MD.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with a scientific focus.
- Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and the publication development workflow.
- Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
