Job Overview

This role requires a highly driven Medical Representative tasked with promoting and marketing pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. The representative is responsible for managing their sales territory effectively, growing sales figures, and delivering outstanding customer service. Acting as a vital link between the company and healthcare providers, the Medical Representative will ensure communication and product promotion is handled professionally.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive sales and promote the company's medicines and medical devices to a range of healthcare professionals and institutions.
• Meet or exceed sales goals set on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and clearly communicate key benefits to target customers.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and customer requirements to detect new business opportunities.
• Collect competitive market intelligence and provide insightful feedback to the sales and marketing divisions.
• Build and sustain strong, enduring relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions through regular visits and communication.
• Stay informed on relevant industry progress, products, and competitor actions while distributing educational and promotional materials appropriately.
• Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, client feedback, and marketplace patterns while maintaining accurate call logs, visit details, and sales documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations, laws, ethical standards, and internal company policies, including participation in pertinent training sessions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proven experience working as a Medical Representative or within a similar healthcare or pharmaceutical sales capacity.
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical items and medical-related terminology.
• Exceptional communication skills combined with proficient interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to operate individually or collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent organization and effective time management techniques.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
