Mechanical QC Supervisor

Role Overview

Esnad Contracting Company is hiring a Mechanical QC Supervisor to support an infrastructure project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical quality control work across piping, HVAC, firefighting systems, plumbing, pumps, valves, and the installation of mechanical equipment.
• Confirm that all mechanical execution matches approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans, and the relevant codes and standards.
• Arrange and coordinate inspection activities with construction teams, subcontractors, consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors.
• Examine incoming mechanical materials and equipment to verify that they align with approved submittals and project needs.
• Observe and witness testing and pre-commissioning activities such as hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, non-destructive testing, flushing, equipment alignment, and pre-commissioning checks.
• Detect non-conformance issues, track corrective actions through closure, and keep thorough quality records and inspection logs.

Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical quality control on construction or infrastructure projects is needed.
• Applicants should have solid knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, weld inspection, testing methods, and QA/QC documentation.
• Working familiarity with WIRs, MIRs, ITPs, method statements, and NCR handling is expected.
• Professional credentials such as CSWIP, AWS, ASNT/NDT, or API are an advantage.
• Prior exposure to Saudi Aramco, NEOM, SABIC, or Royal Commission projects is preferred.
