About MADE Hoops
MADE Hoops leads grassroots basketball events across North America, hosting over 100 boys and girls tournaments and camps annually. Since 2014, it has focused on maximizing athlete growth and exposure, with a notable alumni base of McDonald's All-Americans, NCAA athletes, and NBA stars. Alongside events, the company operates commercial divisions including merchandise sales, brand partnerships, housing, scouting, and digital marketing.
Role Overview
We invite a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team part-time for roughly 20 hours per week during Fall 2026. This remote internship offers chances for travel to camp sites. It emphasizes learning alongside seasoned professionals, especially in digital advertising, email and SMS marketing, and the practical use of AI to enhance workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and observe the digital marketing team with paid campaigns on platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads.
- Support email and SMS marketing efforts using Klaviyo, including scheduling communications and monitoring flows with guidance.
- Monitor campaigns daily to identify and report irregularities.
- Help update ad copy and creative materials as directed.
- Gain exposure to campaign budgeting by observing processes.
- Apply AI tools to draft and refine marketing content, generate ideas, summarize reports, and identify automation opportunities.
- Maintain organized UTM tracking for marketing campaigns.
- Research competitor advertising strategies and contribute insights.
- Participate in basic A/B testing efforts for emails and landing pages, including proposing new tests.
- Assist in extracting key metrics from analytics platforms and assembling reports, using AI to enhance efficiency.
- Learn to interpret marketing performance relative to goals and communicate findings.
Qualifications and Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Sports Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or similar.
- Eager to learn about digital marketing; no prior experience required.
- Comfort and enthusiasm for deploying AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude in daily tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in spreadsheets and Google Suite applications (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Effective written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Self-driven and reliable, able to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred Attributes
- Interest in platforms like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Klaviyo.
- Curiosity around A/B testing and optimization of conversion rates.
- Passion for sports, particularly basketball and youth athletics.
