Manager, Business Transformation

Role Overview

This role focuses on driving performance enhancement and transformation projects throughout the organization. It operates within the Transformation function, serving as an internal consultancy to aid senior leadership in bridging the gap between strategic plans and execution.

Core Responsibilities

• Track and evaluate performance metrics including financial, operational, and strategic KPIs.
• Spot, quantify, and rank areas for performance improvement and opportunity.
• Analyze root causes of poor performance through structured problem-solving methods.
• Plan and help implement targeted solutions addressing key business challenges.
• Lead significant transformation projects, generally lasting between 4 to 12 weeks, across multiple business sectors.
• Break down complex problems, formulate work plans, and guide execution with cross-department teams.
• Prepare clear, actionable recommendations grounded in data and detailed analysis.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align on priorities, proposed solutions, and action plans.
• Ensure successful impact delivery and monitor outcomes of initiatives.
• Support the development of the overall transformation strategy and agenda.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Administration; a Master’s in Engineering Management or an MBA is strongly preferred.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience in business and project/program management, preferably within retail, fuel retail, or B2B sectors.
• Minimum 7 years in a top-tier strategy consulting firm (MBB or equivalent Tier 1 highly favored).
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Capability to manage complex, ambiguous challenges.
• Experience in leading complete workstreams or projects.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to convert analytical insights into practical, actionable recommendations.
• High sense of ownership, drive, and a results-focused mindset.
