About the Role
Rurtech for Arayans LLP, operating under Rurtech.ai, is an innovative startup delivering AI-driven solutions aimed at the agriculture and horticulture sectors. The company seeks three Managers to oversee field operations, foster farmer engagement, and execute agri-business activities within their designated territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, oversee, and coordinate daily agricultural operations in the assigned region.
- Establish and nurture robust connections with farmers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), dealers, and agricultural input partners.
- Promote the utilization of the company's products, services, and technological offerings among farming communities.
- Track crop cycles, analyze market trends, and identify challenges on the ground to inform strategic business decisions.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of field executives to meet defined business objectives.
- Compile and present regular reports detailing operations, sales figures, and market feedback to management.
- Maintain adherence to organizational policies, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols during field activities.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agri-Business, or related disciplines (Graduate or Postgraduate).
- Demonstrated experience within agriculture, agribusiness, or horticulture sectors.
- Proficient in team leadership and people management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of agricultural practices, supply chains, and rural market dynamics.
- Readiness for frequent travel throughout the assigned operational area.
- Effective communication skills in both Hindi and English.
Eligibility
Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or Horticulture.
