About Arc Infrastructure and the Role

Arc Infrastructure is responsible for managing and developing transport infrastructure in Western Australia, focusing on a 5,500 km rail network that connects regions such as the Midwest, Goldfields, Yilgarn, South West, and Great Southern. The organization supports growth, job creation, and strong relationships with industry partners and communities.

We have a vacancy for a Maintenance Planner to join our Planning and Contract Services team located at our Perth Airport head office. If you enjoy planning, possess excellent organizational skills, adapt well to change, and can manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently, this role could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule both preventative and reactive maintenance outages.
  • Act as the main liaison between Works Delivery and Network Operations to facilitate maintenance access.
  • Coordinate major service activities to align with planned network outages to minimize disruption.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for planning systems and procedures.
  • Monitor planned versus completed maintenance work and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Resolve equipment and resource conflicts within Works Delivery teams.
  • Identify and address issues related to planning processes and system integration.
  • Organize meetings with Maintenance Delivery and stakeholders to assess risks, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Prepare required reports and analyses, including month-end summaries, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Support fellow planners with workload sharing and leave coverage.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience with financial principles related to budgeting and cost variance analysis.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities; scheduling experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Proficient in using various software tools and quick to learn new systems.
  • Ability to work effectively within a close-knit team and independently manage time to meet deadlines.
