About the Role
Queensland Alumina Limited's centralised hydrocarbon team invites applications for a Lubrication Technician position within the Maintenance team, based in Gladstone, Queensland. This permanent, full-time role operates on a 9-day fortnight roster and offers a residential opportunity in a vibrant coastal town surrounded by iconic natural attractions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform lubrication maintenance tasks across diverse refinery assets, adhering strictly to site health, environmental, and community protocols.
- Manage assigned work schedules, verify and adjust work orders, raise notifications, and order necessary parts to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support the hydrocarbon program by collecting oil samples for detailed analysis including particle counts and wear evaluation.
- Assist in diagnosing oil-related issues on critical plant equipment, recommending and applying effective improvements.
- Proactively uphold asset integrity and enhance equipment availability by understanding asset criticality and acting accordingly.
