About the Role
We seek a Learning & Development Business Partner to join our Auckland CBD office and lead capability building throughout the BDO New Zealand network. This dynamic role involves collaborating with stakeholders to design and deliver valuable learning programmes that align with business goals and support employee growth at every career level.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with portfolio stakeholders to assess capability requirements and develop learning initiatives tailored to business priorities.
- Design and refine technical and professional learning pathways and curriculum frameworks.
- Work alongside subject matter experts to create practical, relevant, and engaging learning content.
- Support trainers and leaders to deliver high-quality workshops and on-the-job development experiences.
- Analyze programme engagement and learner feedback to ensure learning interventions provide measurable benefits.
- Manage external learning provider relationships and oversee programme quality.
- Coordinate national learning events such as workshops, development programmes, conferences, and other learning activities.
- Maintain and optimize learning resources through the BOLD Learning Management System.
- Contribute to learning communications, continuous improvement, and organisational development projects.
Experience and Skills
- Background in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Talent Development, or related people capability roles.
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder engagement and strong relationship building, capable of influencing at all organisational levels.
- Excellent facilitation, project coordination, and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities focused on continuous learning improvements.
- Outstanding written communication skills for crafting engaging learning materials and messages.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, coaching experience, and experience in professional services are preferred.
