Job description
Position Overview
The Lead Recruiter role based in Chennai or Coimbatore is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment processes for all TIPS Globeducate India campuses and corporate offices. This includes validating manpower needs, planning recruitment drives, sourcing and screening candidates, managing interview logistics, ensuring candidate engagement, processing offers, following up on joining status, and preparing recruitment reports. The role prioritizes filling critical roles promptly to maintain academic and operational continuity and support the organization's expansion.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership including COO, HR Manager, Heads of School, Programme Coordinators, and Corporate Heads to assess and confirm manpower requirements.
- Validate all recruitment needs with approved headcount, resignations, replacements, expansion plans, and operational demands, ensuring thorough role clarity and approvals.
- Maintain detailed trackers for vacancies, categorized by campus, programme, and department across academic, non-academic, and corporate roles.
- Prioritize vacancies based on academic impact, student enrollment, and business needs.
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requisition to onboarding, including job description development and candidate sourcing through diverse channels like portals, referrals, social media, and direct sourcing.
- Screen candidates considering qualifications, experience, communication skills, cultural fit, and salary expectations.
- Coordinate all stages of interviews, assessments, and ensure timely feedback and candidate progression.
- Support offer discussions, approvals, issuance, and manage joining follow-up to minimize dropouts.
- Lead recruitment for teaching staff across all school levels and programmes (IB, Cambridge, CBSE, Inclusive Education), ensuring subject and programme suitability and timely hires to prevent disruptions.
- Handle recruitment for non-academic and corporate roles including administration, finance, IT, marketing, and support functions, ensuring vacancy closure aligns with operational needs.
- Maintain strong stakeholder communication and accountability for interview feedback and decision-making.
- Ensure recruitment turnaround times are met with backup candidate pipelines for critical roles to safeguard business continuity.
- Ensure meticulous documentation and compliance throughout the recruitment process, including data management in HRMS solutions.
- Manage relationships with recruitment consultants and vendors, monitoring performance and compliance with organizational policies.
- Prepare and deliver detailed recruitment analytics and reports to leadership, providing insights on challenges and market trends to support manpower planning.
