Role Overview

This position sits within Nike Direct Digital Commerce’s Online to Offline organization, which connects digital and physical retail experiences to create a premium, seamless journey for consumers. Reporting to the Director of O2O and International Expansion, the role leads Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Pick Up Point initiatives in partnership with teams across digital product, stores, operations, supply chain, and technology.

What the Role Needs

Nike is seeking a highly consumer-focused operator who works comfortably where e-commerce and physical retail meet. The right person will have hands-on experience in omnichannel fulfillment, order management, and store operations, and will be able to improve an often fragmented pickup experience into a fast, dependable, elevated service.

The role calls for someone who can think strategically while also executing directly. They should be able to shape a multi-year roadmap for BOPIS and Pick Up Point services and work closely with product, supply chain, and store partners to turn that plan into reality. Strong analytical ability is important, including using data to evaluate opportunities, establish KPIs, and identify bottlenecks throughout the funnel.

As a lead, this person will need to influence across a global matrix, communicate clearly with senior leaders, and remain connected to what frontline store teams experience day to day.

Key Work Areas

  • Own Nike’s BOPIS and Pick Up Point strategy as well as day-to-day execution, including roadmap planning, launch of new pickup formats, and expansion into new markets.
  • Partner closely with Digital Product, Stores, Supply Chain, and Operations to design and deliver complete pickup journeys, from the .com/app experience through the in-store handoff.
  • Build and maintain a multi-year roadmap, prioritizing work based on consumer benefit, operational practicality, and business value.
  • Set the metrics that guide performance, such as store-to-inventory (SIT) analytics, pickup adoption, speed, order accuracy, consumer satisfaction, and cost to serve, then use those measures to inform decisions.
  • Lead launches for new markets and new formats, including in-store counters, dedicated pickup areas, lockers, and curbside pickup, while adapting the model to local needs.
  • Identify points of friction across the pickup journey, run pilots and experiments, scale successful approaches, and discontinue initiatives that do not deliver results.
  • Act as the voice of both store athletes and consumers in senior discussions, connecting global strategy with local market execution.

Additional Information

Nike will provide reasonable interview accommodations for candidates who need them, including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single-location in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other necessary modifications. Candidates who need assistance because of a disability can complete the Candidate Accommodation Request Form during the application process.

Experience and Qualification Notes

This role requires at least 5 years of experience in omnichannel retail, e-commerce operations, fulfillment, or store operations, including experience leading cross-functional programs. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred, though a suitable combination of education, experience, and training is acceptable. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of the technology stack used in e-commerce, solid retail and e-commerce analytics capability, experience working closely with digital product and engineering teams, and willingness to travel periodically to stores both domestically and internationally.
