Job Overview

As the business grows, they are seeking a dedicated Lead Cargo Operations Procedure Officer in Doha to join their team and support this evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor local and national regulations, aiding in the creation and revision of cargo compliance policies.
- Collaborate with various cargo, group, and operational stakeholders to refine and improve policies, procedures, and communication materials.
- Coordinate updates to policies and procedures, ensuring their prompt dissemination across the network.
- Maintain alignment with Ground Services and relevant parties regarding operational policies and procedures.
- Document and update the cargo operations policies, procedures, and guidelines as required.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in assigned domains and contribute to departmental projects when necessary.
Professional Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification along with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Background in cargo operations and/or technical writing.
- Proven expertise in developing and documenting business workflows and recommending or formulating policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with cargo warehouse operations; experience with freighter operations is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of IATA standards, including Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), Live Animals Regulations (LAR), Perishable Cargo Regulations (PCR), and Temperature Control Regulations (TCR).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel.
- Understanding of cargo management systems such as CROAMIS is a plus.
