Role Overview

The position is a full-time, on-premise Land Acquisition role located in Ghaziabad. Responsibilities include pinpointing and evaluating appropriate land sites for telecom tower setup following company guidelines and regulatory standards. This includes conducting initial site surveys, facilitating due diligence processes, and orchestrating negotiations with landowners, brokers, and local stakeholders to secure advantageous terms. The role demands close cooperation with legal, technical, and project teams to guarantee timely approvals, clear ownership titles, and smooth project handovers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess prospective land parcels suitable for telecom tower installation.
  • Carry out preliminary site evaluations and coordinate comprehensive due diligence activities.
  • Manage negotiation processes with landowners, intermediaries, and local community members to ensure favorable acquisition terms.
  • Collaborate with legal, technical, and project teams to secure approvals, verify title clearances, and facilitate site handover.
  • Monitor local real estate market trends, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of all land acquisition activities and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, zoning regulations, and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven expertise in land acquisition processes, with the ability to identify and secure land parcels effectively.
  • Experience conducting due diligence including title verification, regulatory checks, and reviewing documentation.
  • Understanding of land development and coordination with technical and project stakeholders.
  • Capable of performing market research related to property valuation and regional regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with local land legislation, zoning rules, and municipal approval protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of mapping or GIS software is an advantage.
  • Educational qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Law, Business, or related disciplines. Experience in telecom or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite, undertake local travel as necessary, and handle multiple acquisition projects concurrently.
