Laborer Technician - Archaeology

Job Overview

This role involves active participation in archaeological excavation, exploration, survey, and restoration activities across various sites, including desert and mountainous locations. The candidate will collaborate closely with local teams and international missions under direct supervision to ensure proper handling of artifacts and site maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in excavation and archaeological digging along with architectural restoration at different sites following supervisor guidance.
• Assist in performing archaeological surveys within Dubai Emirate as instructed.
• Take part in cleaning and preparing archaeological locations per supervisor instructions.
• Conduct inspection and monitoring of archaeological sites as directed.
• Manage equipment transportation to and from work sites and ready tools for immediate use as per supervisor’s orders.
• Carry out cleaning and upkeep of storages, machinery, and devices.
• Utilize archaeological excavation tools and equipment correctly and efficiently.
• Immediately hand over any discovered artifacts during digging operations.
• Oversee maintenance activities at work sites following supervisor guidelines.
• Complete tasks and assignments delegated by the direct supervisor within allocated timeframes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Below secondary school level.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years in a related field.
