Kitchen Designer - Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield

About the Role

Kitchens and bathrooms are key inspirational areas within our retail store, showcasing an exciting array of products. At the core of this role is actively listening to customers' needs and delivering tailored design solutions regardless of the project scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Create efficient kitchen and bathroom layouts that align with customer specifications utilizing WINNER design software.
• Design functional kitchens and bathrooms ensuring detailed specifications are provided to customers.
• Maintain regular communication with customers including preparing timely and accurate quotations.
• Coordinate with customers regarding installation schedules and progress updates.
• Deliver sales support both face-to-face and via telephone.
• Offer expert product advice and practical tips to enhance the customer experience.

Candidate Profile

• Possess drive and enthusiasm with a strong passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate lateral thinking, creativity, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Effectively handle time-sensitive tasks and perform well under pressure.
• Exhibit strong communication and liaison abilities to exceed expectations of senior management, colleagues, builders, suppliers, and both DIY and trade customers.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail and precision in all work.
• Approachable, friendly, and highly customer-focused demeanor.
• Eager to learn and develop new skills within the role.
• Previous experience in kitchen design is preferred but not essential.

Additional Information

A confident ability to recommend and sell suitable products based on proven industry knowledge is essential. Prior experience in a similar sales environment is advantageous, though superior customer service and sales capabilities are fundamental for success.
