Overview
Join a respected organisation in Brisbane embarking on a key technology-led business improvement program. This role focuses on spearheading two strategic projects that modernise operational workflows via digital solutions. It provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders, government bodies, and top-tier technology providers to influence future digital service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery encompassing assessment, planning, execution, closure, and handover phases.
- Manage detailed schedules, risk and issue logs, dependency tracking, and project reporting.
- Organise vendor assessments, facilitate market engagement, and coordinate technology solution demonstrations.
- Develop and present evidence-based feasibility reports and strategic recommendations to inform investment and procurement choices.
- Prepare executive-level briefing papers, reports, and presentations for steering committees and senior stakeholders.
- Drive stakeholder coordination involving government, industry participants, and vendors.
- Maintain comprehensive project governance documentation including plans, registers, budgets, and closure records.
- Support consultation efforts and evaluate potential trial approaches for new technologies.
Requirements
- Proven track record managing technology, digital transformation, or continuous business improvement projects.
- Strong experience engaging stakeholders and managing vendor relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with governance structures and preparing reports for senior executives or steering committees.
- Capability to develop business cases, conduct feasibility analyses, and provide strategic evaluation reports.
- Excellent project planning, risk mitigation, and execution skills.
- Outstanding written communication skills with the aptitude to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
- Experience in government, public sector, or regulated industries is highly favourable.
- Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or industry-equivalent credentials.
