About the Role and Team

The Global Catalogue team bridges Warner Music's Catalogue labels with international markets and plays a vital role in marketing artists within the streaming era. The team collaborates closely with all Recorded Music division labels and artists to explore new catalogue marketing, A&R initiatives, content creation, and consumption strategies that benefit our worldwide Catalogue operations.

Our catalogue includes legendary artists like Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Madonna, Prince, as well as contemporary names such as Wale, Jess Glynne, and Muse. Managing this rich and evolving repertoire involves reimagining classic albums, creating promotional playlists, and optimizing streaming engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire product development cycle for assigned physical and digital catalogue releases, including reissues, deluxe editions, and box sets, from concept approval to distribution and release.
  • Coordinate creative and production components such as obtaining audio masters, securing artwork, approving liner notes, and conducting quality control.
  • Lead project management for catalogue reissues by setting deadlines, managing asset deliveries, and resolving production challenges.
  • Obtain necessary content approvals from artists, estates, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on product details.
  • Collaborate across departments including Artist Brand Management, Production, Creative, Business & Legal Affairs, and Finance to execute release schedules smoothly.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring expenditures align with the approved allocations given by the Vice President.
  • Maintain direct communication with artist management and estates regarding project specifics, asset timelines, and strategy execution.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 4 years of industry experience focusing on catalogue reissues and physical music product promotion within record labels or entertainment companies.
  • Strong knowledge of the physical music market, including trends, distribution channels, and consumer purchasing habits.
  • Exceptional project management skills capable of juggling multiple campaigns and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for music history and appreciation for the cultural importance of iconic recordings.
