Junior IT Support Specialist - Digital Workplace

Position Overview

Become a valued member of MOIA's Digital Workplace team in Munich by joining as a Junior IT Support Specialist. This role offers a pathway to develop your IT support expertise within a modern, cloud-centric workspace while collaborating closely with seasoned IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver primary and near-desk level IT assistance to employees based in the Munich office.
• Manage and resolve incidents and service requests using a structured ticketing platform.
• Support the everyday use and maintenance of Apple devices and workplace hardware.
• Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including device configuration and access management.
• Assist with various SaaS tools such as Microsoft 365, Okta, Slack, Atlassian suite, and Miro.
• Handle device deployment, keep an updated hardware inventory, and perform basic equipment upkeep.
• Escalate complex IT issues to senior team members appropriately.
• Participate in creating and improving IT documentation and contribute to process optimizations.
• Apply security best practices and contribute to identity management strategies within the digital workplace environment.

Candidate Profile

• Initial experience in IT support roles, helpdesk, or similar functions.
• Direct experience working with Apple devices in educational or professional settings.
• Interest and openness to engaging with cloud-based workplace tools and progressive IT infrastructures.
• Familiarity with platforms like Microsoft 365, Slack, or Okta is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm to learn Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, including Jamf or Microsoft Endpoint Management.
• Comfortable operating with ticketing systems to handle IT requests.
• Service-focused approach emphasizing excellent user experience.
• Reliability in onsite work attendance and adherence to structured operational procedures.
• Proficient communication in English (C1 level) and at least intermediate German (B1 level).

Working Modalities

Although MOIA supports hybrid working arrangements, this position specifically requires a consistent physical presence in the Munich office, particularly during the initial setup and expansion phase of the site.
