Junior IT Project Manager

Role Overview

As a Junior IT Project Manager at Beyondsoft Singapore, you will play a key role in facilitating project planning, ensuring timelines are met, and coordinating activities to guarantee seamless project delivery. This position involves close collaboration with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to align efforts effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Support detailed project planning and monitor schedules to ensure timely execution
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technical departments, and vendors to maintain alignment
• Assist in eliciting and documenting business and system requirements, with prior business analysis experience considered advantageous
• Contribute to full-cycle system implementations, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and go-live phases
• Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, especially Severity 1 and Severity 2 incidents, along with project dependencies
• Coordinate efforts across infrastructure, system, and application teams during project execution
• Prepare comprehensive project status reports highlighting risks and issues for stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings, discussions, and walkthroughs of solutions when necessary
• Ensure implemented solutions meet business requirements and support smooth transition to production environments
• Work closely with operations teams to orchestrate handover and support readiness post-deployment

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum of four years’ experience in project management with exposure to project coordination or delivery roles
• Experience in project implementation phases such as SIT, UAT, and go-live support
• Basic proficiency in requirements gathering or business analysis is a distinct advantage
• Strong communication abilities and stakeholder management skills
• Capable of handling multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced project setting
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks or project governance concepts is a plus
