Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and sustain scalable backend systems leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and microservices design.
- Construct and enhance high-performing RESTful APIs tailored for enterprise-level solutions.
- Design and implement AI and machine learning solutions using Python, including Generative AI applications.
- Work extensively with Large Language Models (LLMs), encompassing fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and deployment into production.
- Deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models and integrate AI-driven workflows within backend services.
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture deliberations.
- Diagnose and amplify application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Required Skills and Technologies
- Proficiency in Java versions 8, 11, and 17+, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, REST API development, and design patterns.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems principles.
- Expertise in Python programming specifically applied to Artificial Intelligence, ML, Generative AI, LLMs, model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and RAG frameworks.
- Familiarity with libraries and platforms like LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Hugging Face.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing to ensure code quality.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Hands-on experience with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of vector databases including Pinecone, FAISS, or ChromaDB.
- Containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience deploying AI solutions in live production environments.
Eligibility and Other Details
- Minimum 5 years of relevant software development experience, particularly in Java backend development.
- Demonstrated practical exposure to AI model development and fine-tuning in generative AI contexts.
- Residency in Bengaluru or willingness to relocate is mandatory.
- Flexibility to work according to different time zones and project demands.
