About the Role
Join Pilot Company as a Janitorial Maintenance Associate, where you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for diverse guests ranging from professional drivers to daily commuters and vacationers. This dynamic position embraces teamwork, customer service, and engagement in a variety of tasks to ensure top-notch cleanliness and maintenance of our travel centers.
Key Duties
- Keep the store premises clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Clean shower and restroom areas thoroughly to ensure guest comfort.
- Handle washing, loading, and unloading of towels used in showers.
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks within the store facility.
- Collect and dispose of trash around the travel center efficiently.
- Deliver outstanding guest service by maintaining spotless and fully functional facilities.
Qualifications
- Must be a motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand or walk for most of the workday.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Preferred: Prior experience in janitorial or maintenance roles and familiarity with industrial equipment with basic repair skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage starting from $11.85 up to $17.25.
