Overview
Join Danone's Auckland team as an IWS Coach on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave. The Integrated Work System (Dan-IWS) enhances operational efficiency, quality, and workplace culture by merging people, processes, and technology.
Primary Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor the Line Trio and operators on Run-To Target (RTT) and Dan-IWS initiatives.
- Develop and evaluate coaching plans daily and weekly, ensuring adherence to the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology.
- Facilitate effective pillar meetings and embed PDCA thinking.
- Manage and ensure 100% accuracy of KPI data reporting for both local and global teams.
- Communicate Dan-IWS progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify challenges, adapt coaching strategies, and implement best practices to accelerate IWS adoption.
- Integrate Dan-IWS applications related to safety and quality while ensuring compliance with standards.
- Promote a culture of employee ownership throughout the organization.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking an energetic professional keen to advance their career in continuous improvement within manufacturing. A solid background in data analysis and the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights are essential. Experience or aptitude in coaching and training, coupled with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, will be beneficial. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicates clearly, embraces challenges, and quickly adjusts to shifting priorities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in manufacturing operations, preferably in dairy or food industries.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
- Coaching and training experience is highly valued.
- Strong skills in change management and project leadership.
- Proven track record guiding teams through organizational changes.
- Ability to manage evolving priorities efficiently.
