Job Overview
Teleminds Infotech is seeking a diligent IT Executive skilled in BPO infrastructure support to join their team in Kolkata at Megatherm Tower, Sector V, Salt Lake. This role demands technical expertise in network and desktop support, Linux administration, and dialer systems management to maintain seamless IT operations within a BPO setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hardware and desktop troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing laptop/desktop issues.
- Install, configure, and manage Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Set up and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks along with performing LAN mapping and testing.
- Manage network infrastructure including switches and routers to ensure business efficiency.
- Install and troubleshoot dialer applications, softphones, and hardphones providing continuous dialer system support.
- Monitor IT assets, network devices, and system health actively.
- Address user technical issues promptly within established timeframes.
- Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for infrastructure support as necessary.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or similar areas.
- Proven experience in IT support within a BPO environment is mandatory.
- Comprehensive understanding of LAN/WAN networking, LAN mapping/testing, desktop hardware repair, network setup, and switch/router configuration.
- Experience with Linux system installation, configuration, and administration.
- Expertise in dialer system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting including softphones and hardphones.
- Strong problem-solving ability complemented by effective communication skills.
- Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple IT tasks simultaneously.
Additional Information
- Position operates on a shift from 3:30 AM to 12:30 PM with rotational shift flexibility required.
- Candidates located near Sector V, Salt Lake are preferred due to shift timings and availability of pick-up services.

Compensation
