Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned IT Manager to lead our IT Operations team, covering network and systems administration, DevOps, and IT support. You will ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of the technology infrastructure that is foundational to our engineers, operators, and mission systems. This role requires a player-coach who leads the team strategically while actively engaging in technical work such as troubleshooting, infrastructure design, incident response, and project delivery. The IT environment includes both on-premises and public cloud technologies, requiring the ability to rapidly adapt and support specialized team members effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT Operations team, focusing on priority setting and team development (approximately 35% of the role).
• Perform hands-on technical tasks and handle escalated issues (30%).
• Develop IT technical strategy and roadmap to support evolving business needs (20%).
• Conduct recruiting, onboarding, and administrative duties (15%).

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range between CA$144,894 and CA$169,894 reflecting various job-related factors.
