Investment Intern

Role overview

TechConnect is hiring an Investment Intern in Singapore for an onsite contract role. This opportunity is geared toward candidates who can support investment teams with research, analysis, and transaction coordination across live mandates.

What you will do

• Carry out research on sectors and target companies for active investment work, including estimating market size, mapping competitors, and exploring key themes in depth.
• Create and keep updated comparable company analyses, covering both trading and transaction comparables to support valuation checks.
• Help prepare management update decks, deal pipeline trackers, and briefing materials for investment committee discussions.
• Review teasers and CIMs, then convert them into structured preliminary screening memos to assist with deal assessment.
• Maintain deal-flow records and monitor follow-up items across ongoing processes.
• Support ongoing transactions with analytical work such as financial modelling, due diligence coordination, and research on counterparties as needed.

Requirements

• Applicants should be fresh graduates or final-year students from a strong university background, ideally with a degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, or Business.
• A solid grounding in financial modelling, valuation methods, and core corporate finance concepts is expected, along with good command of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous internship exposure in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, or Big 4 Transaction Services is considered an advantage.
• Mandarin language ability is beneficial.
