Role Overview
We are seeking an Analyst to assist in our investment banking engagements. This position primarily functions virtually but requires on-site presence and involves working directly with our experienced deal team across multiple active transactions. Initially offered as a project-based role, the opportunity includes a defined path toward full-time employment. The role features a steep learning curve, significant exposure, and the opportunity to impact live deals directly.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile, structure, and analyze incomplete or disorganized data sets to create actionable insights.
- Develop, update, and interpret financial models, including 13-week cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare client presentations and deliverables using Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
- Support various aspects of transactions, including M&A deals, financings, due diligence, and other deal-related workflows.
- Conduct research and prepare pitch materials utilizing databases and publicly available information.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with clients and internal teams.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 18 months experience in investment banking, accounting, transaction services, or similar analytical domains.
- Educational background includes a BA, BS, MBA, or MS in fields such as accounting, finance, or equivalent analytical disciplines.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and PowerPoint, capable of constructing complex integrated financial models.
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines across several simultaneous projects.
- Ability to work independently under pressure, while recognizing when to seek assistance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Authorization to work within the United States is required.
