Overview

This contract Investment Analyst role is fully remote and is based in New Zealand. The position calls for a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours and offers compensation of $154 to $210 per hour.

What you will do

Build and update detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, and other valuation structures that help guide investment decisions.
Evaluate companies, markets, and opportunities through in-depth financial and investment analysis to identify both upside and risk.
Create clear and accurate reports, forecasts, and presentation materials for stakeholders to support planning and strategic reviews.
Work through large data sets to surface practical insights that can inform capital markets and investment choices.
Track market movements, financial updates, and new developments in fintech so investment approaches stay current.
Partner with cross-functional teams on AI-enabled financial initiatives and help keep work aligned with business goals.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.
Applicants should bring substantial experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, or capital markets; the source does not specify the exact minimum length.
