About the Roles

Airtel requires skilled professionals for two positions within its Broadband Field Operations team: Installation Engineer and Wireman. Both roles are essential for ensuring smooth broadband installation, maintenance, and upgrade activities across assigned areas.

Eligibility and Educational Requirements

• Installation Engineer: Must have completed 14 years of education (graduate level).
• Wireman: Should have passed 12th standard.
• Basic understanding of networking, broadband installation, telecom services (for Installation Engineer) and electrical wiring or telecom cabling (for Wireman) is preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to handle customers effectively are required for both roles.
• Applicants must be willing to travel within their assigned locations as per business needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation Engineer: Responsible for installing, shifting, and reactivating Airtel Broadband services while ensuring timely, high-quality workmanship and a seamless customer experience.
• Conduct speed and technology upgrades based on customer requests.
• Adhere strictly to all company procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
• Work closely with internal teams to maintain efficient field operations and continuously enhance customer satisfaction.
• Wireman: Support broadband installations including cable laying, wiring, and equipment setup.
• Assist in shifting, reactivating, and upgrading broadband services.
• Ensure timely completion with quality workmanship while following SOPs and safety measures.
• Maintain professional conduct at customer locations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Installation Engineer: Fixed monthly in-hand salary of ₹21,000 with a total cost to company (CTC) of ₹25,000.
• Wireman: Fixed monthly in-hand salary of ₹18,000 with a CTC of ₹21,000.
• Both roles include benefits such as Provident Fund (PF) and Medical Insurance coverage.
