Position Overview

We seek a dedicated Industrial Automation Trainer with expertise in both theory and hands-on practice of automation technologies. The trainer will mentor students to prepare them effectively for industry roles by delivering engaging and comprehensive training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions covering Industrial Automation technologies such as PLCs, SCADA, HMI, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Sensors, and Instrumentation.
• Facilitate practical lab exercises to reinforce learning.
• Create and continuously update training content including presentations and assignments.
• Describe and analyze real-world industrial applications and case studies.
• Mentor students on projects and support them during interview preparations.
• Assess student progress via tests, assignments, and other evaluation methods.
• Manage and maintain lab automation equipment ensuring proper usage and safety.
• Collaborate with academic staff for scheduling and course enhancements.
• Deliver placement-oriented coaching and provide technical assistance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational background: Diploma, BE, or B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or equivalent.
• Experience: Between 1 to 3 years preferred; however, fresh graduates with a solid knowledge base are welcome.
• Proficiency in PLC programming for Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Mitsubishi series.
• Competence in SCADA and HMI system operations.
• Knowledge of industrial sensors, instrumentation, electrical and control systems.
• Understanding of automation systems such as robotics and process control is advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for easier comprehension.
• Genuine passion for educating and guiding students.
