About the Project

This opportunity is for an illustrator who enjoys bringing stories to life for children. The work centers on creating artwork for a children's book, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling, age-appropriate imagery, and engaging character expression. Responsibilities

Produce original illustrations that match the book’s storyline, mood, and overall style.
Design characters and build visual ideas from the supplied story direction.
Work closely with the author so the artwork supports and enhances the written content.
Prepare polished, print-ready files in the required formats and resolutions.
Update and refine artwork based on feedback until the desired look is achieved.
Keep the project on schedule and manage illustration deadlines independently.

Skills and Requirements

Prior experience illustrating children’s books or similar narrative projects.
A strong portfolio featuring artwork suited to young audiences and storytelling.
Comfort using digital illustration software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate.
Ability to translate written stories into clear, appealing visuals for children.
Strong communication skills and prompt responsiveness in a remote setup.
High attention to detail and a collaborative approach to revisions.
Self-directed, organized, and capable of working to deadlines without close supervision.
