About the Role
Join TELUS Digital in forging the 'shield of trust' that secures global digital identity. This specialist position is part of an elite team dedicated to training sophisticated AI models to spot fraudulent activity, verify official identity documents, and support stringent Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols. Your expertise will empower AI to differentiate real individuals from highly realistic synthetic disguises and authentic passports from expertly forged ones, ensuring safe and trusted digital access worldwide.
Key Duties
- Analyze and annotate high-resolution international identity document scans (including passports, visas, and licenses) to detect minute signs of forgery or tampering.
- Assess biometric and liveness test datasets to aid AI systems in recognizing deepfakes, playback attacks, and 3D mask deceptions during facial recognition processes.
- Verify the accuracy of AI-extracted Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data such as names, dates of birth, and expiry details across various scripts and document formats.
- Conduct adversarial testing by simulating fraudulent behaviors using edge-case and synthetic documents to evaluate and expose vulnerabilities within the KYC verification system.
Candidate Requirements
- At least one year of relevant professional experience.
- Availability to work consistently Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Indian Standard Time.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in cybersecurity, criminal justice, forensic science, information security, or related disciplines.
- Native-level fluency in the candidate’s primary language to accurately identify localized documents and regional identity features.
- Intermediate (B1) level English proficiency or higher, both spoken and written.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, especially in detecting fine anomalies at the pixel level in digital images.
