HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and associated equipment.
• Identify potential maintenance risks and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems.
• Perform cleaning, adjustments, repairs, and warranty services with efficiency.
• Respond promptly to urgent repair needs ensuring minimal downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and practical training to team members on the job.
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation of all maintenance activities performed.
• Ensure all tasks comply with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Adhere to service standards, operational instructions, and meet customers' expectations.
• Assist customers by addressing their queries related to HVAC equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1-2 years of practical experience in a similar operational role, preferably within a luxury brand environment.
• Understanding of various hotel departments’ operations and priorities.
• Technical/vocational certification relevant to HVAC systems is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics accurately.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and delivering excellent customer service.
