Housekeeping Staff

Job Overview

MARS Hotels & Resorts Ltd is seeking reliable housekeeping personnel for its Blackpool location. This role can be either full-time or part-time, with a minimum educational qualification equivalent to A Levels. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, though training will be provided.

Key Duties

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces adhering to hotel standards.
• Change bedsheets, linens, replace towels, and restock guest amenities.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and clean windows as necessary.
• Keep supplies like toiletries, tissues, and minibar items replenished.
• Report any maintenance concerns or lost and found items to supervisors promptly.
• Handle and maintain cleaning equipment correctly.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Maintain guest privacy and maintain professional conduct during all interactions.

Requirements

• Prior housekeeping experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good physical endurance to stand, bend, and lift during shifts.
• Willingness and availability to work weekends and holidays when required.

Additional Details

• Hourly wage is £12.21 per hour.
• Employment type: Full-Time / Part-Time.
• Minimum qualification expected is A Levels or equivalent.
