Role overview

Adare Manor is hiring a Housekeeping Porter to support the Housekeeping department. The role is fixed term and runs until October 2026. It is an active, practical position focused on helping the team maintain excellent cleanliness, presentation, and organisation across guest and staff areas.

Key responsibilities

• Keep linen and towel supplies at the right level so room servicing can run smoothly.
• Move used linen to the laundry promptly.
• Help the Accommodation team shift beds and furniture when needed.
• Carry out high-level and deep-cleaning duties across the resort.
• Collect waste and keep back-of-house housekeeping spaces tidy.
• Support room servicing whenever extra help is required.
• Help maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, appearance, and order in all guest-facing and employee areas.
• Contribute to delivering an outstanding guest experience at all times.

What the role involves

This job is physically active and includes manual handling, lifting, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling housekeeping trolleys and equipment, carrying linen and supplies, vacuuming, general cleaning, and assisting with deep-cleaning projects throughout the resort.

Candidate profile

The ideal person will work well in a busy environment, take pride in high standards, notice detail easily, and be comfortable doing physical work as part of a team.

Working pattern and requirements

You must be flexible to work five days out of seven, including weekends. A full, clean driving licence is required because driving is part of the role.
