Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient, and positive customer service to guests, clients, and colleagues, adapting to varying customer needs.
• Ensure all assigned areas, including ancillary spaces and corridors, are kept clean, tidy, and sanitary to promote health and safety, adhering to departmental policies and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Inspect assigned areas and determine appropriate cleaning techniques based on orientation and training guidelines.
• Use housekeeping equipment and cleaning solutions safely and efficiently under supervisor observation.
• Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using appropriate germicides and sterilization tools as required.
• Handle disposal of trash and biohazard materials carefully following universal precautions.
• Maintain cleaning carts fully stocked with necessary equipment and supplies; verify all chemicals are properly labeled and equipment remains in good working condition.
• Foster effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary collaboration while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Contribute to enhancing departmental productivity and operational efficiency.
• Commit to continual professional development by participating in all required training activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail in performing cleaning tasks.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, senior management, and support staff.
• Ability to adapt and respond effectively to changing demands and priorities.
• Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.
• Willingness to wear uniforms and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
