Overview

We seek a committed and experienced Cook to join the school hostel at Narayana Defence Academy. The role involves preparing wholesome, nutritious, and appetizing meals for hostel students, while upholding stringent cleanliness and food safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare all meals including breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner in line with the hostel's menu.
• Cook wholesome and hygienic food suitable for students.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene by cleaning utensils, cooking surfaces, and working spaces regularly.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation of vegetables, groceries, and food supplies.
• Assess the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards rigorously at all times.
• Manage inventory by tracking stock levels and notifying management of grocery needs.
• Reduce food waste through efficient use of ingredients.
• Support meal serving activities when necessary.
• Follow the directives provided by the Hostel Warden or Management team.
