Role Overview

Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join their team in Devon, England. This position involves delivering groceries to customers, representing the company with high standards of service and safety on the road. The role demands being active, independent, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow safe loading procedures for the delivery van, including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Adhere strictly to road safety and safe driving practices at all times.
• Carry out pre-trip vehicle checks before starting deliveries.
• Ensure groceries are delivered in excellent condition to customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build positive interactions during deliveries.
• Assist in-store duties when needed to support the wider team.
• Manage working time independently and efficiently across shifts.
• Be flexible with working hours, which can range between 6am and 11pm depending on shift patterns.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full valid driving licence held for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Demonstrate a positive, friendly attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer experience.
• Show punctuality and reliable time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Have a solid understanding and awareness of road safety rules and practices.
