Head of Programme – Start Well

Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Programmes to spearhead the execution of a significant, high-profile initiative. Reporting directly to the Programme Director, you will take charge of specific projects and workstreams, guaranteeing the coordinated delivery of activities on schedule to achieve set objectives.

Key Duties

• Lead the comprehensive delivery of the programme, ensuring all milestones and outcomes are met.
• Supervise multiple interconnected workstreams spanning various organizations.
• Maintain and update the overarching programme plan, including managing dependencies and the critical path.
• Ensure strong governance frameworks, effective reporting, and assurance protocols are in place.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID) at the programme level.
• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to programme teams.
• Represent the Programme Director at senior-level forums as needed.
• Establish and nurture solid relationships across Trusts, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), and other system partners.
• Organize and facilitate workshops and meetings involving clinical and operational teams.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation to comply with governance requirements.
