Hausmeister (m/w/d)

About the role

To help keep the hostel running smoothly and to ensure guests have a pleasant stay, the team is looking for a hands-on housekeeper/maintenance professional to take care of the property in Frankfurt am Main.

Your responsibilities

• Carry out painting jobs, install flooring, and assemble or set up furniture as needed.
• Handle minor electrical and plumbing tasks within the property.
• Maintain and look after the outdoor areas of the site.
• Monitor external contractors working on location.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a trade-related field is preferred, such as building services technician, technician, electrician, electronics technician, service technician, painter, carpenter, joiner, or facilities caretaker.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Strong technical understanding.
• Prior experience in a similar role.
• Good practical craftsmanship and manual dexterity.
• Flexibility, reliability, physical resilience, and an interest in taking on new challenges.
