Google Sheets Expert (MIS & Data Analyst)

Job Overview

We seek an experienced Google Sheets specialist skilled in managing, analyzing, and organizing extensive datasets. The role involves developing automated reports, maintaining precise data, and delivering actionable business insights via well-designed dashboards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and update large datasets within Google Sheets.
• Design and sustain MIS reports and business intelligence dashboards.
• Utilize complex formulas including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, QUERY, IF, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, ARRAYFORMULA, and FILTER for data manipulation.
• Create Pivot Tables, graphical charts, and automated reporting tools.
• Conduct thorough data cleaning, validation, sorting, filtering, and format adjustment.
• Extract valuable business insights through data analysis.
• Prepare reports on daily, weekly, and monthly timelines.
• Assure accuracy and consistency in all reports generated.
• Integrate Google Forms with Sheets to facilitate data capture.
• Automate repetitive workflows preferably using foundational Google Apps Script programming.
• Collaborate with internal departments for data collection, updates, and administration.
• Safeguard the confidentiality and precision of company information.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in advanced Google Sheets functions and formulas.
• Expertise in advanced Microsoft Excel features.
• Skilled in data analysis and Management Information System (MIS) reporting.
• Experience in dashboard creation and report generation.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail alongside effective communication and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with conditional formatting, data validation, and data cleaning processes.

Preferred Competencies

• Fundamental knowledge of Google Apps Script for report automation.
• Experience managing large datasets efficiently.
• Understanding of business reporting frameworks and KPI dashboards.
