About the Role
We are searching for a driven and experienced Global Sales Manager to join a thriving manufacturing company specialising in innovative exhaust, sound suppression, emission, and thermal reduction products for Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment. Our sectors include Resources, Power Generation, Transport, Earthmoving, and Industrial operations worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive global sales strategies aimed at achieving growth targets.
- Perform market research to uncover trends, customer demands, and new avenues for expansion.
- Evaluate and enter new international markets leveraging effective strategic approaches.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders for sustained value growth.
- Set performance benchmarks and KPIs for regional sales teams and monitor outcomes.
- Stay alert to industry trends and competitor behaviors to refine strategies.
- Lead contract and agreement negotiations with clients.
- Improve sales operations through enhanced processes, tools, and technologies.
- Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to plan and optimize sales budget returns.
- Deliver regular performance, market, and strategic reports to senior leadership.
- Mentor and guide a high-achieving international sales team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a similar field.
- Substantial sales experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in international sales with exposure to diverse regional markets.
- Proven leadership in motivating and managing effective sales groups.
- Strong background in crafting and executing sales strategies.
- Expertise in market intelligence and growth opportunity identification.
- Experience managing sales budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
- Excellent communication and presentation aptitude.
- Advanced negotiation skills.
- Exemplary professionalism and integrity.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- Ability to foster trusted global client and partner relationships.
