Role Summary

This position calls for a hands-on engineer skilled in creating Python-based Generative AI solutions on AWS Bedrock. The selected candidate will contribute to retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, agent workflows, and production-level AI capabilities under guidance from senior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Generative AI functionalities and complex workflows using Python and AWS Bedrock services.
  • Construct and implement RAG pipelines involving chunking, embeddings creation, information retrieval, and contextual grounding.
  • Create single and multi-step agent workflows utilizing LangChain or LangGraph frameworks.
  • Integrate large language models with APIs, software tools, and enterprise systems.
  • Produce well-tested, maintainable Python code supported by continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Track and analyze system metrics such as latency, token consumption, and operational costs.
  • Collaborate effectively with architects, senior engineers, and quality assurance teams.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficient with Python core topics including object-oriented programming, type annotations, module system, writing unit tests with pytest or unittest, using fixtures, and basic asynchronous programming.
  • Experience invoking models in AWS Bedrock (e.g., Claude, Titan), integrating retrieval systems or knowledge bases, and understanding model guardrails and access controls.
  • Solid grasp of Generative AI concepts such as prompt engineering (system and few-shot prompting), RAG methodologies, basic AI output evaluations, and practical use of LangChain or LangGraph for agent workflows.
  • Familiarity with fundamental DevOps practices like Git version control, pull requests, continuous integration pipelines, Docker basics, and artifact management.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to vector databases including OpenSearch, FAISS, or Pinecone.
  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and machine learning principles such as evaluation metrics, cross-validation, and awareness of data leakage.
  • Clear communication skills, strong learning drive, and ability to work collaboratively within teams.

Other Requirements

Applicants must either reside in Bangalore or be willing to relocate there. Experience with full stack .NET development alongside Generative AI expertise is mandatory.
